One installer, then restart Resolve.
It installs the plugin, the analysis engine and everything they need. There is nothing else to install.
If Windows says Windows protected your PC when you open the installer, click More info, then Run anyway. Windows shows this for new programs until enough people have installed them.
The download is free. PodoCut asks you to sign in the first time you open it, and an edit needs a licence. Buy one for $100 if you have not yet.

WHAT IT NEEDS
The installer brings its own Python 3.14 and its own ffmpeg, so nothing else has to be installed first. It registers that Python for your user account only, and if you already have a Python 3.14 it leaves yours alone. That Python is also why PodoCut needs Resolve 21: earlier versions of Resolve cannot load it.
AFTER IT INSTALLS
Three things, once.
Run the installer
Close DaVinci Resolve first, then double-click the PodoCutSetup file you downloaded. Accept the licence and confirm the Resolve scripts folder it offers — change it only if your Resolve uses a different one. It installs for your user account only, so Windows will not ask for an administrator password.
Restart Resolve
Resolve scans for scripts once, at startup. Until you restart it, PodoCut will not be in the menu.
Open Workspace ▸ Scripts ▸ PodoCut
The panel opens in its own window, on the clips you selected in the Media Pool or on your current timeline. Sign in once, with the email and password you bought with or with Google.

UPDATES
It updates itself.
You only download an installer once. After that PodoCut checks for updates when it opens, installs them itself and carries on — signed, verified, and able to roll back to the previous version if anything goes wrong on the way.
Plugin updates are small and quick. The analysis engine is a few hundred megabytes, and when that changes it downloads in the background and installs at the start of a later launch.
Updates are free, including new major versions. You do not have to come back to this page.
